I had an issue with my solar hot water heater, which had been a problem since we replaced the system back in 2018-2019. As a HVAC Contractor here on Oahu I know good workmanship when I see it. Even more I know superior customer service when I witness it. My wife and I came home after a much needed week vacation to the mainland only to find our garage flooded from a hot water tank pipe leaking water every which way. Of course these things don’t happen when you’re at home, only upon returning late at night, tired, and the last thing you want to deal with. I turned the water off and called John early the next morning. As I explained my situation of returning home to a nightmare and desperately needing professional help with this water leak John compassionately set my mind at ease and explained that he was here to take care of my challenge and that I not need to worry as he was here for us. He told me that he would have one of his team members come by to evaluate the situation within the hour. Literally one hour after, and I am not exaggerating it was one hour after that phone call two of his teammates showed up, introduced themselves in such a respectful manner, diagnosed the problem and explained that they would return tomorrow with the materials and tools needed to fix this water leak. The next day, as promised, the same two friendly technicians showed up, also communicating the whole time via text in ETA’s, arrived, and up to date information on the repair, fixed the leak, cleaned up after themselves, and just went above and beyond my expectations which I have to admit are extremely high as I am in the customer service business (AC) and run my company in the format as John. Our home owners insurance sent out a leak detection company after we saw signs of water damage. They found the location and source of the problem, a leak from a pipe, and it needed to be stopped. I called Shoreline Plumbing and they were there within an hour. They were professional, and very thorough and meticulous. They did an outstanding job and made what was an incredibly stressful situation stress free. They were great with my two year old who had to check out what they were doing. I've recommended them to several friends and neighbors already and I have them lined up to come out and replace the rest of the bathroom plumbing while the wall is already opened up by the restoration company. We've had some pretty awful experiences with some contractors recently so I've been avoiding recommending anybody but I would absolutely recommend Shoreline Plumbing over and over. It was very refreshing to have a company that was genuine and did right by us but they went above and beyond. This is my second time using the services of Shoreline. The first time they had to tear out my bathroom shower, dig a trench to get to and replace old and broken pipes then close the trench. After my new shower was retiled they came back to install the new shower head. Today I woke up to a kitchen sink full of black sludge. Once again Shoreline to the rescue. I requested Pete because he recently replaced my kitchen sink and it was a complex job and he was awesome. Paul did excellent job to replace my 2 grandfather style “2 shower handles”. I was worried if can’t replace, but Paul is really trying to help me to replace instead other option, really appreciated! he also went to get the parts for me. They were hard to pull out, not easy to take out cartridges and install new ones, but Paul took the patience , quite lot muscles work. And he also fix the the kitchen drainer and pipe that he noticed need correction. I am very happy and satisfied with Paul’s work. He is really organized, clean up right away. I will definitely recommend and use Paul and shoreline again. Naomi reception is also super friendly and helpful to schedule for me. Big mahalo!
